INJURY/DEATH

IN THE EVENT OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH:

• Call 911.
• Check scene for safety.
• Utilize basic first aid if needed.
• Have someone meet EMS and direct them to the scene.  
• Refer any media questions to the Office of Marketing and Communication.
• After the immediate situation has been handled medically, ensure an accident/injury report is completed at https://www.southplainscollege.edu/about/campussafety/complaints.php
